RS 485 and Power Limit
RS 485 and Power Limit The RS 485 serial interface card to be placed in the DB9 expansion slot of the inverters of the RS range allows you to create a serial BUS and Modbus through a PC or a monitoring system with specific software. The RS 485 interface is also necessary to connect the inverters to the RS Datalogger for centralizing the data that will be sent to the supervision cloud (RS Monitoring).
Specific functions
- Connect multiple inverters by viewing all their parameters
- Connect the RS Datalogger to monitor the inverters
- Management of the ModBus protocol on a half-duplex RS-485 serial line published openly and royalty-free. ModBus address setting via APP (via Wi-Fi connection of the inverters).
- N° 2 auxiliary input contacts for remote tripping and external control (required by CEI 0-21 regulation).
- Connection of a TA (current sensor) to enable the Power Limit Function which forces the inverter to limit energy production to the sole need for self-consumption or limit grid feed to a desired maximum value
- Wi-Fi password reset button.
